D10 MM P3 V1

D10 Mixed Media P3 V1 — THE PRIMARY OLLIE REFERENCE

Draft 10 Mixed Media Collage, Page 3 variant 1. Reef edge threshold scene. "It's almost like a perfect octopus for me." "You wanna jump, but it's really scary, but it's so beautiful."

Style Prompt
Mixed media collage on heavy paper. Torn paper edges for coral, painted gouache for characters, transparent tissue overlays for water atmosphere, metallic iridescent paper for shell interiors. Each element has its own material truth. Handmade tactile depth impossible in single-medium work. Solid materials for home, transparent for ocean.
Scene Prompt
Medium shot at the reef edge. Warm reef behind them, mysterious deep blue ahead. The THRESHOLD between two worlds. Ollie facing the deep, arms slightly lifted with anticipation. Pill-pupil eyes wide with excitement, not fear. Dot beside him, gentle hum-pulse glow. The reef edge is a clear visual boundary — warm colorful abundant reef on one side, cool mysterious open ocean on the other. Iridescent light plays where warm and cool meet. Last creatures of the reef visible at the edge. The deep ahead is beautiful, not threatening — luminous blue-green with hints of bioluminescence far below. This is an anticipation shot — the last warm moment before the journey.

Style Prompt
Mixed media collage — torn paper, fabric textures, painted surfaces, printed patterns layered together. Each element has own material. Handmade tactile depth. Mussel shell interiors in metallic/iridescent paper.

Confirmed character design decisions for Round 3

Dot — Seafoam V15

Dot — Seafoam Tint V15

Confirmed Dot design for Round 3. Tiny pearlescent white sphere robot, much smaller than Ollie. Perfect sphere with nacre/pearl-like iridescent surface and subtle seafoam tint. Eyes projected directly on sphere surface as soft line-based expressions (default: happy squinty crescents). Cute small mouth. No antenna, no display screen. Very simple hardware — one axis line, little dots on side. Whole surface can glow soft blue in dark/emotional moments. Clean, minimal, modern.

Ollie Texture — cute_tex_06

Ollie Texture Reference — cute_tex_06

Confirmed Ollie texture reference for Round 3. Golden-amber gradient skin with soft organic chromatophore shimmer. Rounded plump head, smooth gradient yellow-orange (darker golden-amber on head fading to cream underneath). No spots or speckles. Large expressive eyes with dark pill-shaped pupils and warm catchlights. Cute small mouth, subtle eyebrows for expression. No ears. Watercolor-rendered character. "Proportionally pleasant — not too wide, not manga-style."

Ollie Body — ollie_v2_01

Ollie Body Reference — ollie_v2_01

Confirmed Ollie body proportions for Round 3. Eight longer flowing arms with soft curves. Baby proportions — head roughly 40% of body, about the size of a softball. Arms 2-3x body length. No hearts on chest (hearts only on page 17 celebration). Inspired by mixed media collage style. Warm, endearing, cute.
